Jack Daniel's Special Release series highlights a limited innovation from the Jack Daniel Distillery. Jack Daniel's Twice Barreled 2022 Special Release is finished in Oloroso Sherry Casks. This year's special release celebrates a new grain bill from the Jack Daniel Distillery - 100% malted barley. This is a one-of-a-kind experience crafted from the highest quality malted barley, charcoal mellowed, and twice barreled for a complex taste. This special release is first aged in brand new, American white oak barrels and then finished in the finest Oloroso sherry casks and bottled in its truest form, straight from the cask, with the proof ranging from 106.1 to 107.8.

Jack Daniel's Twice Barreled 2022 Special Release starts with 100% malted barley, which contains roasted nuts and toasted bread flavors. Then, the whole grain is ground, fermented, distilled in copper stills, and finally passed through the traditional charcoal mellowing process. It's then matured in brand new, charred oak barrels to capture Jack Daniel's signature taste of caramel and vanilla. It is then transferred into the finest quality Spanish Oloroso sherry casks from the Antonio Paez Lobato Cooperage for a minimum of two years and, finally, bottled straight from the cask at cask proof.
