The first release of Willett Wheated 8-Year-Old Bourbon was distilled in the early Spring of 2013 and bottled in the Summer of 2022. The proprietary mash bill is barreled at 115 proof in Char# 4 American Oak. It was bottled without chill-filtration to preserve the most flavor possible.

Willett Wheated 8-Year-Old Bourbon is distilled from corn, wheat, and malted barley. The Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is made with all-natural ingredients. It is aged in new charred American oak barrels and bottled at 108 proof without chill-filtration to preserve its flavor.

Willett Wheated 8-Year-Old Bourbon was released in the summer of 2022 after spending two years in American oak casks - first in new barrels and then once more when it was finished aging. The proprietary mix of grains includes a little wheat for sweetness and some barley for depth.
